We’re currently accepting pitches for blog guest posts.
Specifically, we’re interested in pitches for original articles, essays, list posts, reviews, and interviews anywhere in the range of 500 – 2000 words (interviews can have higher word counts, which is fine).
Guest posts must be related to and geared toward a speculative fiction audience. That means anything to do with science fiction, fantasy, horror, dystopian, utopian–and all other genres that fall under that umbrella. We also accept interviews with scientists that might be of interest to sci-fi readers, and interviews with historians that might be relevant to fantasy enthusiasts.
We don’t currently compensate for guest posts. However, we’ll allow contributors to place a bio at the end of the piece with a maximum of two promotional links.
Editorial: If we accept your pitch and green light you to write the piece, it’s possible we’ll ask for revisions before publishing your piece. We will always ask permission before making any changes. But keep in mind that minor grammar, spelling, typo, and punctuation will be corrected if necessary. Also, we may change the headline and subheadlines to fit our audience standards and to increase reach.
Please allow us 4 weeks to respond to your pitch before you submit further inquiry.
