Today’s post is a special one. We’re introducing our cover artist for Interspecies. At last, you say? Indeed. At last.
His name is Piotr Foksowicz but he is more commonly known as simply Piofoks. Piotr is an illustrator and concept artist from Wroclaw City, Poland and as you can clearly see he is a phenomenal artist.
His paintings are dark, moody, and gritty. I love the atmospheric qualities and dark tones. His attention to detail and sense of contained violence draws you in, and I think, this is precisely the reason it caught my attention.
Anyway, we’ve selected a few of his paintings to showcase here for you to give you a taste of things to come. Enjoy!
Mull over what you see here today. Try and imagine what the cover of Interspecies will look like. You already have an inkling of life on a broken earth. Now imagine that corrupted world as portrayed through the eyes of Piofoks.
If you want to know more about the artist or see the rest of his portfolio or hire him, you’ll find him online here, here, and here.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Trust me, I really cannot wait to show you the cover.
Seriously. I have goosebumps as I type this.
Cheers!
