I’m focussing on robots today. I did not set out planning a robotic theme, of course, but it happened the way all my posts happen. When I discovered this artist and saw his work, I was bowled over. I immediately wanted to share with you.
Ociacia Vladislav is a 29-year old artist and concept designer from Kiev in the Ukraine, specialising in 3D Max, V-ray, Maya, Z-Brush, Photoshop, and Flash. He absolutely loves futuristic things that clearly include robots.
Ociacia received his formal training at the School of Arts and the National University of Theatre, Film and TV in Kiev where he specialised as a Director of Animation.
As usual, I have here a small collection of the artist’s work. Each image links to the corresponding gallery. Enjoy!
Ociacia’s designs are flawless. They are clean and crisp and rendered so real, you think you’re looking at physical machines. And that is what I wanted to share.
Today’s post shows yet another aspect of science fiction that makes this genre so alluring. Ociacia’s style and theme are a perfect marriage of innovation and futurism, and that has always been one of the drawing elements of science fiction.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments, please. I’m curious to hear about your impression.
Take care.
