I was in the mood for a bit of Star Wars this week, and of course, as I usually do when I act on an urge, I decided to share it with you. And as fate would have it, I found this wonderful artist whose concept work truly astounds.
Meet Wojtek Fus. Wojtek is a freelance concept designer from Elblag, Poland, and he paints worlds through a prism of fantasy, future tech, and vivid sunscapes.
Wojtek has been active in the video game industry since 2011, and as a freelancer, he’s had the opportunity to dig into some well-known brands like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Detroit: Become Human.
Below are a few examples of this artist’s extraordinary talent. Each image links back to the site of origin. Enjoy!
Together with fellow artists Jonas De Ro and Darek Zabrocki, Wojtek launched “Level Up,” a highly successful, free, online learning platform that connects over 60,000 artists and assists them with their journey to become professional artists.
In his free time, Wojtek tests new tools and technologies to incorporate in his creation process. This constant search for new ways of communicating story ideas informs his art and allows him to experiment.
And there you have it. If you loved today’s post, please share it. At the end of the day, we all love sci-fi art and as with most talented people who exist in the margins, not enough people are aware of them. We want to change that.
Cheers!
