Paul Pepera lives in Seattle where he works as a 3D game artist. He is the co-founder of System Era, a video game studio. They are currently developing their first game, Astroneer.
Paul’s previous clients include Oculus VR, Valve, 343 Industries, id Software, and TimeGate Studios. When not developing video games and rendering kick-ass 3D concept designs, Paul spends his time drawing and painting and taking photos.
Below is a collection of his work. Each image links back to the site of origin. Enjoy!
Crisp and textured, Paul’s concept designs feel real enough to touch. I love the technical and engineering detail in his designs overall, specifically on his industrial spacecrafts. And how about those tufted exteriors? When you look at Paul’s designs you know the future is here. You can see these spacecrafts toiling in space. The idea of that seems so possible and realistic and immenent, but that is thanks to the technical mastery of the artist.
