Art of Science Fiction 095: Mark Kolobaev

Art of Science Fiction this week looks at vehicles you’d use offworld. Mark Kolobaev lives in Belgorod, Russia and is a freelance artist working in the movie and video game industries. His art is pretty brilliant.

Land crawlers and terra explorers, vehicles filled with military personnel ready to explore an alien planet. Mark’s paintings are atmospheric and shimmer with tone and color. I love how detailed his textures are.

Below is a small sampling of his genius. Feast your eyes and enjoy!

If you would like to see more of Mark’s work, click here. And because he is a freelancer he is also available for commissions.

And that is all from me this week. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

Cheers!
